South Park Fanon Policies

From South Park Fanon Wikia

The South Park Fanon Wiki Policies are a series of policies created to keep fellow users' fanon safe, and also to keep everyone in-line and aware about everything. The wiki has additional policies due to being focused on fanon and thus, there being no official source for anything.

Contents

[edit] The Basics

  • Do not edit other's pages without permission, unless it is adding "Trivia" to a Fanfiction article, or updating the plot summary.
  • Do not change a character's page or infobox without permission. If you have suggestions, you can ask the creator. If the character doesn't have an image, you can add one for them, but keep true to any descriptions in fics.
  • If you are free with others editing the article of a character you created yourself, specify so in comments tags, <-- --> - That way it won't show unless someone tries to edit it.
  • Do not add anything about "Relationships" to the canon characters, like Kenny, Kyle, Stan etc. because since each fanfiction is usually it's own timeline, it would be impossible to catalog every relationship in every fic.

[edit] Other Notes

It is asked that if users make several changes to a character, or give a large personality to a character with a bit part (i.e. Karen McCormick, who has no lines or official name, but was expanded upon by JVM), you can create an article for them. If the name is taken, then put your name at the beginning (i.e. 'Username: Kyle Broflovski').

If you've made minimal changes to an existing character (such as giving them a full name over a first, like changing Craig to Craig Nommel), then you can say so in their article, but under a 'Fanon area', per example:

[edit] Fanon

In JVM's stories, Craig is known as Craig Mark Nommel, the last name being taken from several other stories using the last name Nommel, the middle being randomly chosen.

[edit] Other Notes (continued)

Users who do not obey these rules may find themselves banned from the wiki.
