Bratters is the romantic pairing of the minor character, Bradley and Butters Stotch.

[edit] Origin

The pairing comes from the episode, Cartman Sucks where the two of them are "accountabilibuddies." The two of them are writing Biblical verses together and Bradley apologizes for getting them into trouble, in which Butters says it's alright. Bradley thinks Butters is a terrific person but panics when he starts to think about Butters. He asks Butters if he really likes him. Butters replies back that he likes him a whole lot. Bradley panics even more and runs out the door with Butters chasing after him. In the same episode, Butters saved him from committing suicide when he almost jumped off a bridge.

[edit] Canonicity

Like the pairing Craimas, some fans believe that this pairing has some canonicity in it when Bradley asks him if he really likes him in which Butters says he does. However, due to Butters' personality, he probably didn't understand what Bradley meant and thought he was referring to friendship and not romance. Bradley also hasn't been seen since this episode and it is unknown if Butters kept in contact with him after leaving the camp.

After the episode aired in March 2007, fanarts were popping up all over the art sites (mostly DeviantART) and the pairing was mostly the talk of between fans. However, as time passed, the talk over the pairing was dim and the fanarts stopped. There are still fanarts being made but there are very hard to find. There aren't many fanfictions, either, but there is a club on DeviantART for it.
